Ganduje meets Saudi Arabia drug trafficking victims, donates N3m to each
Governor Abdullahi Umar Ganduje on Wednesday received two Nigerians who were to be executed in Saudi Arabia over allegations of Drug Trafficking in Kano state.
The drug trafficking victims would have been executed in Saudi Arabia, if not for the intervention of the federal government of Nigeria — After they were found to have been set up by an airport drug trafficking cartel.
According to Abike Dabiri, President Muhammadu Buhari’s Senior Special Assistant on Foreign affairs and Diaspora, Governor Ganduje on meeting Zainab Aliyu and Ibrahim, gifted them with N3million each.
